Part of a collaboration between TAG Heuer and high-end London mod-shop, Bamford Watch Department, this 'Monaco' timepiece is based on the original 1969 model, the first-ever waterproof square automatic chronograph, as showcased by Mr Steve McQueen in the film Le Mans. It features a sleek 39mm titanium-coated stainless steel case and tricolour dial that references the Gulf-liveried driving suit sported by McQueen, who personally chose the Monaco for filming owing to his admiration for real-life racer Jo Siffert and his Heuer leanings. Powered by a calibre 11 automatic movement, it has Super LumiNova® hands for legibility, a date window and full chronograph functions, as well as a sporty perforated leather strap.
